A letter from our founders
We started MindVortex because we kept seeing the same failure mode: organisations deploying large language models and wondering why productivity did not improve. The problem was never the model's vocabulary — it was the absence of attention architecture. Without salience routing, working memory, and executive control, AI systems generate content indiscriminately. They answer every prompt with equal confidence, regardless of whether the question deserved that confidence.
Cognitive neuroscience has understood for decades that human intelligence is not raw processing power — it is the ability to selectively allocate limited attention to the signals that matter. We built MindVortex to bring that principle into production AI systems. Our team combines computational neuroscientists, distributed systems engineers, and domain specialists in healthcare and research operations.
We are headquartered at 330 3rd Avenue North in downtown Saskatoon, deliberately choosing a Canadian base where privacy law is robust and the research community is collaborative. We are not a marketing agency. We do not sell campaigns, brand strategies, or social media management. We build cognitive infrastructure — and we build it to last.
